About the course

The Master of Arts is designed to extend your critical and practical skills in a chosen arts discipline or support a transition into the arts. You’ll learn through hands-on, industry-informed study with strong links to creative communities, completing a major supervised creative project and a professional placement. Access to specialist facilities and on-campus residency programs helps you build a strong professional portfolio in arts practice at master’s level. The programme delivers postgraduate depth in theory, applied practice, and professional standards for specialist career progression.

What you might learn

You’ll develop advanced knowledge and critical thinking in your selected arts field, applying professional or creative practices to projects. The course builds skills in analysis, decision-making and effective communication across media forms, including working with established and emerging technologies.
