About the course
The Master of Architecture provides advanced architectural education preparing graduates for contemporary professional practice and the pathway to registration as an architect. Building on prior architectural design study, it emphasises designing for extreme climates and sustainable built environments in Northern Territory and Asia-Pacific contexts. You will develop advanced design thinking, 3D modelling, documentation and professional practice knowledge, with options for a major research project or practice placement.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue professional opportunities across architecture, design, construction and project management, with the degree positioned as the primary pathway toward architect registration in Australia (subject to accreditation and required practical experience). Skills developed support work in architectural practice, project delivery environments and built-environment consultancies, applying sustainable and climate-responsive design approaches at a Master’s level in architecture and the built environment.
