About the course
This integrated undergraduate and masters-level program builds a strong foundation in exercise and sport science, then progresses to advanced clinical exercise physiology skills for working with people with chronic disease and complex health needs. You’ll develop evidence-based assessment, exercise prescription and professional practice capabilities, supported by practical learning. It is designed as a combined pathway culminating in a Masters qualification in clinical exercise physiology within a streamlined study plan.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across sport, fitness and clinical health settings, applying exercise science and clinical exercise physiology to improve performance and manage health conditions. Career options may include exercise scientist roles, clinical exercise physiologist (subject to relevant professional requirements), rehabilitation and chronic disease exercise programs, sport performance support, and work in hospitals, community health, private clinics, research or high-performance sport environments.
