About the course
This online master’s degree provides specialist postgraduate training for breast surgeons, developed with Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand. You will build up-to-date expertise in breast oncology, multidisciplinary care, and contemporary breast and oncoplastic surgical techniques. Study is delivered through online lectures, podcasts, surgical videos, discussions and webinars, and includes core units, electives and a supervised capstone project in breast surgery.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for advanced clinical practice and leadership in breast surgery, applying current evidence in benign and malignant breast disease management, multidisciplinary breast cancer care and oncoplastic techniques. The course supports specialist development for surgeons working in public or private breast services, cancer centres and multidisciplinary teams, and strengthens capability to undertake clinical projects and quality improvement in postgraduate medicine.
