About the course

The Advanced Accounting major within Curtin’s Master of Professional Accounting builds capability for auditing and financial risk assessment. You’ll explore contemporary finance issues, advanced financial accounting, and the legal and ethical regulatory frameworks that shape reporting practice in Australia and globally. The major also develops practical skills in preparing financial statements, cash flow statements and audit reports for complex organisations in the accounting and finance discipline.
