About the course
Bond’s Master of Actuarial Science (Specialisation) builds advanced skills in actuarial methods, risk evaluation and management, economic modelling and prediction, and business analytics. Designed for graduates from non-actuarial disciplines, the four-semester program provides a pathway to Actuaries Institute Part I (Foundation) accreditation and offers the option to complete a specialisation (recommended: Data Analytics). This is a Master coursework qualification in actuarial science.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue quantitative and risk-focused roles across finance, insurance and investment settings. Typical opportunities include actuarial consultant, insurance or superannuation actuary, risk analyst, investment analyst, portfolio manager, liability manager, and big data/analytics roles supporting decision-making. The program also supports progression toward professional recognition through Actuaries Institute Part I preparation within a Master coursework pathway in actuarial science.
