About the course

This Masters course will allow students to gain a sophisticated understanding of urban design and conservation in order to contribute to research in your field or develop your career prospects. Students are typically able to choose to undertake coursework only options or a minor thesis as part of the program.

What you might learn

Students can choose units of study such as design skills, contract law or sustainable construction, including an option of undertaking placements for some courses. Training throughout the degree will help you to develop key skills to specialise in that subject area.

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as environmental consultant, architect, architectural critic, urban planner, policymaker, advisor/ consultant, and etc. in companies including AECOM, The Australian Institute of Architects, Royal BAM Group, Lend Lease Group, Brookfield Multiplex, and etc.
