START QUT (SQ02)

About the course

START QUT is a school-student pathway program that lets eligible Year 11 and Year 12 students take selected QUT units while still at school. You can study one unit per semester (including intensive summer offerings) across a range of disciplines and campuses or online, building credit points and an official QUT academic record. This is a High School pathway program across multiple study areas. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.

Career outcome

START QUT is designed to give senior secondary students early experience of university study and help inform future degree choices. Completing units can support advanced standing (credit) in a related future QUT degree and demonstrates readiness for higher education through assessed university-level work. This is a High School pathway program that supports transition into tertiary study across disciplines. Supporting progression into undergraduate degree programmes in the chosen discipline.
