About the course

Learn to navigate and apply emerging technologies that are transforming legal practice in national and global contexts.

 

This course has been designed to provide law graduates and practitioners with the technical skills, mindsets, and capabilities they need to work and succeed in a rapidly changing professional landscape.

 

The Graduate Certificate in Future Law Technologies is an online, part-time course:

  • suits industry professionals - study flexibly online, at your own pace
  • classes with world leading and expert teachers
  • no exams! Each subject includes three assessments that will prepare you for the real world of law
  • gain a broad range of technology-based skills that will help you to navigate the new normal of legal work
  • develop creative legal solutions and pitch your prototype to your client in a virtual pitch event
  • relevant for legal graduates, practising lawyers, professionals, and those in non-traditional legal roles

What you might learn

This course will empower you to understand, apply, and create technology-based tools that respond to complex legal problems, manage legal practice, and work globally.

 

You will develop capabilities in:

  • quantitative analysis and logical reasoning
  • design thinking methodologies
  • the automation of legal services and decision support systems
  • creating innovative legal solutions and taking them to market
