About the course
The Tertiary Enabling Program (TEP) is a free bridging pathway designed to help you prepare for university study. In as little as 16 weeks full-time, you can build academic skills, confidence and foundational knowledge, with flexible options to study online or on campus and part-time or full-time. On completion, you can apply for most CDU undergraduate degrees and access the same student support services as other CDU learners. This is a Foundation Studies pathway program. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.
Career outcome
TEP is an enabling pathway rather than a vocational qualification, designed to help you progress into undergraduate study. Graduates typically use the program to meet entry requirements and transition into degrees across areas such as nursing and midwifery, education, law, psychology, engineering (with extra maths preparation where needed), and social work. The course supports stronger academic readiness for university-level study and future professional pathways via a bachelor degree. This is a Foundation Studies pathway program.
