About the course
The Preparing for Success Program (PSP) is a flexible, fee-free enabling course designed to help adult learners build confidence and readiness for university study. Available on campus or online, it can be completed full-time in around three months or part-time over up to one year, using six-week study blocks. It develops core academic skills such as time management, essay writing, research and foundational maths, and can provide direct entry into selected Southern Cross University degrees.
Career outcome
This program is an enabling pathway rather than a vocational qualification, supporting progression into a wide range of Southern Cross University undergraduate degrees. Graduates may use the PSP to transition into bachelor-level study and work towards career change or new professional opportunities across many disciplines. It strengthens academic and study skills valued in tertiary study and future workplaces. As a Foundation Studies pathway, it is focused on preparing you for successful university study rather than specific job roles.
