About the course
The Foundation Studies Program (Fast Track) is an intensive, 17‑week pathway designed to build the academic skills and foundational knowledge needed for university study. You complete core units in English and mathematics and choose electives aligned to one of several streams (Arts, Business, Law, Life Science or Physical Science). It supports transition into undergraduate study through stream-aligned preparation at Foundation Studies level. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.
Career outcome
This fast-track foundation program is intended as preparation for entry into undergraduate degrees rather than direct employment. By strengthening academic English, mathematics and study skills, and adding stream-based electives, you can progress toward university study in areas such as arts, business, law or sciences (subject to meeting progression requirements). Outcomes are primarily further study pathways at Foundation Studies level in broad disciplines. Supporting progression into undergraduate degree programmes in the chosen discipline.
