About the course
UOW College’s Foundation Studies (2 Sessions) (Stream 2) is a pathway program designed for international students who have not met direct entry requirements for a UOW bachelor degree. Delivered over two 14‑week sessions, it builds core academic capabilities such as time management, essay writing, teamwork and presentations, and helps you adjust to university standards. This Foundation Studies pathway supports progression into selected UOW undergraduate health and science-related degrees.
Career outcome
This pathway program is designed to prepare you for entry into the first year of selected University of Wollongong bachelor degrees rather than direct employment. By strengthening academic communication, study habits and collaborative skills, graduates are better equipped to progress into undergraduate study and later pursue careers in areas linked to their chosen destination degree (for example health, exercise, nutrition or marine/science fields). This Foundation Studies pathway supports progression into undergraduate study in broad health and science disciplines.
