A PhD helps students to specialise in one of the key research areas from environmental, petroleum or naval engineering. By the end of the program, students should have made a significant and unique contribution to an existing area of knowledge through a thesis under academic supervision.

While researching for your thesis, you will be able to access specialist support including attending seminars, writing boot camps and workshops. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to demonstrate academic leadership, creativity and innovation in your research work.
