About the course
Developed with WA Cricket and the Perth Scorchers, this one-year Diploma combines sport and business study with practical learning and access to high-performance cricket coaching. Delivered using modern technology in WA Cricket’s elite facilities, it builds core skills and experience for roles across sport organisations. It can also provide up to one year of credit towards selected Murdoch bachelor degrees in sport or business. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.
Career outcome
This diploma supports entry-level careers across sport organisations by combining business, marketing and sport-focused study with applied learning in a high-performance environment. Graduates may pursue roles such as sports coordinator, commercial operations officer, project or resource coordinator, community development officer, marketing or social media coordinator, club membership officer, junior sport development manager, junior performance coach, or match-day/partnership operations coordinator in the sport and business sector.
