About the course
This Diploma of Sport prepares you for entry-level to developing roles in the sports industry through study linked with the Western Bulldogs Football Club. You’ll build practical knowledge across areas such as talent identification, training and recovery, sport psychology and business risk. Learning is delivered on campus with exposure to high-performance environments and industry insights. This is a Diploma in Sports Science. The programme builds patient care fundamentals, clinical assistance skills, and health workplace practice.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting sport development and the delivery of programs and events across community and competitive settings. The course builds capability in planning, coordination, communication and leadership, supporting pathways into coaching support, sport administration and operational roles in clubs, schools and recreation organisations. It can also provide a foundation for further study. This is a Diploma pathway in Sports Science. Preparing graduates for nursing assistant, care worker, and clinical support roles, or degree articulation.
