About the course
This diploma develops leadership capabilities for disability and community services settings. You’ll learn to lead teams, support quality service delivery and help drive organisational improvement in a sector focused on client-centred care. The program is delivered on campus at RMIT’s Melbourne City campus with full-time study over one year (or part-time equivalent). This Diploma qualification focuses on leadership in disability services. The programme introduces counselling basics, community support skills, and behavioural science fundamentals.
Career outcome
Graduates may work in disability and community services organisations where leadership and coordination skills are needed. Typical opportunities include team leader or supervisor roles, service coordination, client support leadership and roles supporting quality and continuous improvement across programs. You may also progress to higher-level study in community and human services fields. This Diploma supports careers in leadership within disability services and social/community care.
