About the course
The Diploma of Information Technology Fast Track is a UOW College pathway that provides guaranteed entry into second year of selected UOW IT degrees. You’ll build core capabilities for university success while exploring programming, systems analysis, networking and web technologies. Delivered on campus over two 14‑week sessions, the diploma also offers a Higher Education Diploma exit point to support employability while progressing to a bachelor in IT and computing. The programme delivers hands-on programming, networking, and technical support skills for IT employment.
Career outcome
This fast‑track diploma develops foundational IT skills and credit toward a UOW bachelor, supporting roles that assist software and web development, systems and network support, and junior IT operations. Graduates may pursue opportunities in a wide range of organisations needing technical support and digital systems capabilities, or continue directly into second year of a related UOW bachelor to strengthen prospects in professional IT and computing careers at diploma level. Preparing graduates for IT support, junior developer, and systems assistant roles, or degree articulation.
