About the course
This Diploma of Nursing prepares you for a career in healthcare and supports eligibility to meet Enrolled Nurse registration requirements with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). You’ll develop foundational nursing knowledge and practical skills across areas such as acute care, aged care, primary health, mental health and palliative care, with significant clinical placement to apply learning in real settings. This is a Diploma qualification in Nursing. The programme builds patient care fundamentals, clinical assistance skills, and health workplace practice.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue work as an Enrolled Nurse in a range of healthcare environments, applying preventative, curative and rehabilitative nursing support. Opportunities may include hospitals, aged care facilities, community and primary health services, mental health settings and palliative care contexts, supported by substantial clinical placement experience completed during study.
