About the course
The QUT College Diploma in Esports is a one-year on-campus qualification at Kelvin Grove, Brisbane, combining esports industry knowledge with business strategy, digital technology and commercial operations. You can choose foundational study in either Business or IT while building real-world skills from your first semester in a supportive, smaller-class environment. This Diploma in IT & Computer Science provides a pathway into related QUT bachelor degrees with advanced standing. The programme delivers hands-on programming, networking, and technical support skills for IT employment.
Career outcome
This course prepares you for entry-level roles supporting the esports and games sector across business and technology functions. Graduates may work in esports operations, event and tournament support, community and content coordination, marketing and sponsorship support, or digital production and platform administration for teams, venues, publishers and agencies. The diploma also provides a pathway into QUT bachelor degrees to progress toward specialist careers in IT and the esports industry.
