About the course
This combined pathway lets you gain a Diploma in Esports and then fast-track into the second year of QUT’s Bachelor of Information Technology. You’ll explore the esports ecosystem and the commercial operations behind the global industry while building practical IT foundations. Study on campus with a supportive learning environment and progress through two qualifications in three years in IT & Computer Science at QUT. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across the esports and digital technology sectors, combining industry knowledge with applied IT capability. Career directions may include esports operations and business roles, digital technology support, junior IT and systems roles, and pathways into broader computing careers after completing the Bachelor of Information Technology.
