About the course
This Diploma introduces you to engineering fundamentals and provides a supported pathway into further university study. You’ll build core knowledge across systems design, mathematics, communication and professional ethics, while studying in Western’s modular learning model focused on one subject at a time. On successful completion, you can transition into second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). This is a Diploma-level pathway in engineering. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
