About the course

This Graduate Diploma provides an APAC-recognised fourth-year pathway in psychology for graduates who have completed a bachelor degree sequence. Students undertake advanced training in research methods, psychometrics, statistics and data analytics, supported by supervision while completing a thesis. The program includes electives such as forensic psychology, neuropsychology and clinical psychology, and supports progression toward provisional registration and further postgraduate study in psychology.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue the next steps toward becoming a registered psychologist by applying for provisional registration with AHPRA and progressing into accredited postgraduate psychology training. The course strengthens research and assessment capabilities relevant to roles in psychology-related settings such as research assistance, health and community services, education support, and behavioural or wellbeing programs, while positioning graduates for entry to master’s-level professional psychology pathways.
