About the course
UNE’s Graduate Diploma in Psychology is a bridging qualification for graduates who want to move into psychology without an accredited undergraduate psychology major. It builds foundational psychological knowledge and skills and is designed as a pathway into fourth-year psychology study and further training. Offered online or on campus, it supports full-time or part-time study toward a professional psychology pathway. The programme develops advanced psychological assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based practice for professional settings.
Career outcome
This graduate diploma provides the accredited psychology sequence required to progress toward further study in psychology and, with additional approved fourth-year and postgraduate training, eventual professional registration pathways. Graduates may use it to transition into psychology-related roles across health, community services, education and organisational settings, or to strengthen capability for further specialist psychology study.
