About the course
This Diploma of Building Design develops practical drafting and design capability for small-scale residential and commercial projects using Revit (CAD). You’ll learn to create concept designs, specifications and 3D models, estimate costs, and produce compliant drawings aligned with building codes, standards and planning rules. The course also covers sustainability, energy-efficient design and WHS, preparing you for applied work across new builds and renovations in building design. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
