About the course

This diploma builds advanced counselling and communication skills for work in community and health-related settings. You’ll develop the ability to establish counselling relationships, work within ethical and legal frameworks, ask effective questions, and recognise and respond to crisis situations. Delivered with industry-experienced teachers, the course supports progression into counselling roles and can provide a foundation for further tertiary study in the community services sector. The programme introduces counselling basics, community support skills, and behavioural science fundamentals.
