About the course
The Diploma of Business is a pathway program that builds foundational knowledge in key business disciplines while developing university-level study and communication skills. Designed to fast-track your transition into undergraduate study, it can prepare you for entry into the second year of a selected Macquarie bachelor degree. You’ll study on campus with small classes and personalised academic support in business and commerce. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.

This diploma provides a broad introduction to business practice and prepares you to continue into a related bachelor degree, supporting entry into junior roles across many sectors. With grounding in management, marketing, entrepreneurship and people-focused business functions, graduates may pursue pathways toward roles such as administration assistant, customer service or sales support, and later progress to coordinator or analyst positions after completing further study in Business & Commerce.
