About the course
The Diploma of Business Analytics is a pathway program that introduces core business and analytics-related foundations, designed to be equivalent to the first year of undergraduate study. You’ll build academic and study skills while completing units across areas such as statistics, databases, programming, marketing and accounting. Successful completion can fast-track you into the second year of a related Macquarie bachelor degree in business analytics. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.
Career outcome
This diploma builds foundational capabilities for entry-level roles that support data-informed business decision-making across many industries. Skills developed in statistics, database design, programming basics and business fundamentals can support pathways into roles such as junior business/data analyst, reporting assistant, operations or marketing analytics support, and business information systems assistant. It is primarily designed as a diploma pathway into further undergraduate study in business analytics.
