About the course
This diploma develops practical and paraprofessional skills for conservation and ecosystem management roles. You’ll build capability for operational, technical and some supervisory work across areas such as Indigenous land management, ecosystem restoration and rehabilitation, conservation works, parks administration, wildlife management, marine/coastal management, and water and catchment management. The course is delivered online and can be studied full-time or part-time as a Diploma in environmental management.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting conservation programs and land, park and natural resource operations across government, ranger services, Indigenous organisations and environmental management teams. Typical job outcomes include Soil Conservation Specialist, Landcare Manager, Land Management Unit Supervisor, Indigenous Land Manager, Park Ranger, Environmental Officer (Lands, Parks and Wildlife), and Natural Resource Manager.
