About the course
This Certificate IV develops the skills to become a qualified trainer and assessor in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. You’ll learn to plan, design and deliver training, facilitate group and workplace learning, and assess competence using appropriate tools and frameworks. The program suits experienced industry professionals transitioning into roles across TAFEs, RTOs, enterprises and community training contexts in education and training. The programme develops classroom assistance skills, child development knowledge, and educational support practice.
Career outcome
Graduates may work as enterprise trainers or assessors, trainers/assessors in registered training organisations (RTOs), and vocational education teachers. The course supports careers in training design, delivery and assessment across workplaces and VET providers, including roles advising on training needs and supporting workforce capability development.
