About the course

This Certificate I - IV course has been designed to develop foundational knowledge in the disciplines of mining exploration, process plant and engineering technology. Students will receive training from industry experienced teachers in order to gain skills to be used towards future employment.

What you might learn

The course assists students to develop essential skills through core units such as knowledge of CAD packages and AutoCAD and basic calculation of general engineering concepts, so as to contribute towards academic knowledge required for a Bachelor degree or find employment in the industry.

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as mining engineer, technical assistant, technical support, process plant engineer, site supervisor, site support, and etc. in companies including ExxonMobil, General Motors, Volkswagen Group, Samsung Electronics, General Electric, and etc.
