About the course
This apprenticeship-focused qualification prepares you to become a trade-qualified roof plumber. You’ll build practical capability in installing roof and wall cladding systems, including roof sheeting, non-metallic roof materials and insulation. Training also covers fitting key roof plumbing components such as fascias, gutters, downpipes, flashings, valley gutters and ridge capping, guided by industry-expert teachers in a Certificate III building services trade. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.

Graduates can pursue work as a roof plumber, supporting residential and commercial construction and maintenance projects. Skills from the course align with industry demand, helping you contribute to the installation and repair of roof drainage and cladding systems to required standards.
