About the course

This Certificate I - IV course has been designed to develop foundational knowledge in the disciplines of group exercise or massage therapy. Students will receive training from industry experienced teachers in order to gain skills to be used towards future employment.

What you might learn

The course assists students to develop essential skills through core units such as providing therapeutic massage, instruct fitness programs, give advice on meal plans and maintain fitness equipment, so as to contribute towards academic knowledge required for a Bachelor degree or find employment in the industry.

Career outcome

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as massage therapist, sports therapist, personal trainer, sports coach, sports development officer, exercise physiologist, and etc. in companies including local schools, commercial gyms and sports facilities, NHS, local universities, community centres, and etc.
