About the course

This apprenticeship qualification develops practical skills to work as a civil construction plant operator. You’ll build capability to operate safely across infrastructure projects such as subdivisions, bridges, rail, harbours, drainage and pipeline works. Training supports both new entrants and experienced workers seeking recognition, with exposure to common civil plant and equipment used on worksites. It prepares you for trade-qualified plant operations and further study in civil construction.
