About the course
Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-vocational) provides a practical introduction to electrical and related trades. You’ll build foundational skills and knowledge to help you pursue an apprenticeship pathway in areas such as electrical, instrumentation, and air conditioning/refrigeration. The course is delivered on campus and is designed as an entry-level vocational qualification in electrical engineering. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
Career outcome
Graduates gain practical Engineering – Other skills for industry entry or articulation into higher qualifications. Graduates work as engineering technicians, draftspersons, and field service staff.
