About the course
This Certificate III provides an entry-level pathway into information technology support and customer service roles. You’ll develop practical ICT skills and can study face-to-face or online, with delivery options that may suit full-time or part-time study. The course may be undertaken as an apprenticeship/traineeship and includes flexible start dates across the year. This is a Certificate III qualification in IT & Computer Science. The programme delivers hands-on programming, networking, and technical support skills for IT employment.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue junior IT support and service roles in a range of workplaces that use common ICT systems. Typical outcomes include IT technician or user support positions, providing first-level assistance, troubleshooting basic issues and supporting customers and staff. The course supports entry to further VET study such as Certificate IV. This is a Certificate III qualification in IT & Computer Science. Preparing graduates for IT support, junior developer, and systems assistant roles, or degree articulation.
