About the course
This apprenticeship-based Certificate III in Plumbing (CPC32420) is designed for employed plumbing apprentices to gain the formal trade qualification needed to apply for plumber registration. You will build practical skills through classroom learning and workplace tasks across water and sanitary services, drainage, materials and tools, gasfitting, roofing, welding, mechanical services, plan reading and safety. This is a Certificate I - IV qualification in plumbing and building services.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for trade work as a plumber across residential, commercial and industrial settings, including both existing buildings and new construction. The course supports capability in areas such as water and sanitary services, drainage, gas, roofing and mechanical services, helping apprentices become job-ready for installation, maintenance and repair tasks.
