This Certificate III in Signs and Graphics (CPC30216) develops practical trade skills to design, manufacture and install a wide range of indoor and outdoor signage. You’ll work with traditional and modern signwriting methods and technologies, including digital production and computer-based design tools. This apprenticeship-focused qualification prepares you for hands-on work in the sign and graphics industry. The programme trains digital design tools, visual production, and portfolio development for creative workplaces.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in sign manufacturing and signwriting, supporting the production of vinyl, digital, illuminated and fabricated signage. You may assist with design, layout and file preparation, operate cutting and printing equipment, and install signage on varied surfaces (including vehicle wraps). This Certificate III supports work across signage workshops and graphics production businesses. Preparing graduates for junior designer, production assistant, and multimedia support roles, or degree articulation.
