About the course
This Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (CHC43215) builds practical skills to support people experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues. You’ll learn to deliver client services, contribute to health promotion, and support community interventions, with a focus on job-ready practice. The qualification also develops knowledge that can transfer into related areas such as mental health and youth work within community service settings. The programme introduces counselling basics, community support skills, and behavioural science fundamentals.
