About the course
This Graduate Certificate builds foundational knowledge of construction management, covering how construction projects are planned, delivered and procured within the built environment. It is designed for graduates from related built-environment disciplines, and also for those from other fields with relevant construction experience. You will develop practical understanding of procurement, measurement and estimating, plus Building Information Modelling (BIM), to support entry into construction management roles.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue entry-level or career-transition opportunities across the construction and built-environment sector, supporting the management and procurement of construction projects and facilities. The course develops capabilities relevant to construction management practice, including procurement processes, estimating and measurement, and use of BIM in project delivery. Typical pathways include roles with contractors, consultancies, developers and public or private organisations involved in delivering built facilities at a graduate certificate level in construction management.
