About the course
This graduate certificate provides an entry pathway into social work for graduates from disciplines outside the social and behavioural sciences. You’ll build foundational knowledge in human behaviour and development, sociology, disadvantage, human rights, social justice, social policy and social welfare to prepare for postgraduate study. Designed to support progression toward the Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying), it develops academic readiness for future practice in social work.
