About the course
This Graduate Certificate helps early childhood diploma-qualified educators build contemporary teaching knowledge for children from birth to 5. It provides a supported stepping stone into Flinders’ Master of Teaching (Birth to 5) in Education & Teaching. Career outcome
Graduates can use this qualification as a pathway into Flinders’ Master of Teaching (Birth to 5). After completing the subsequent Master’s, they may be eligible to apply for teacher registration and work with children aged birth to five in early childhood settings such as long-day care centres, kindergartens and preschools. Roles may include early childhood teacher, centre director/assistant director, centre manager, or educator in Education & Teaching. Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care and have 5+ years' work experience, or a bachelor's degree.
