About the course
This Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Disability Support builds specialist knowledge of holistic child development in family and early childhood education and care contexts. You will develop evidence-based approaches to communication, language support, social-emotional development and positive behaviour support, and learn how to collaborate with families and other disciplines in early intervention. Flexible online study is available and the program can provide a pathway to the Master of Special and Inclusive Education.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply research-based strategies to assess young children’s needs and respond to identified learning difficulties or disability-related challenges. Career pathways may include roles in inclusive and specialist education settings, disability support, and early childhood intervention services.
