About the course
This Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security builds postgraduate IT capability in core cyber-security practice, including threat detection, security architecture, and risk management. You’ll study technologies such as encryption, PKI, VPNs, firewalls and intrusion detection, alongside cloud and enterprise security and relevant cyber law and regulation. Teaching is supported by research-active academics and industry experts, preparing you for graduate-level study in cyber security.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue entry to specialist cyber-security roles supporting organisations to protect networks, systems and data from unauthorised access, disruption and loss. The course develops capability across security architecture, enterprise and cloud security, and the use of contemporary tools and controls.
