About the course
This Certificate III develops practical skills for work in conservation and ecosystem management. You’ll train in tasks such as fauna recognition, pest surveying, chainsaw operation and site inspections, alongside core safety and land-management practices. The course also offers the option to complete an Agricultural Chemical skill set, supporting Auschem certification for industry readiness. This is a Certificate III qualification in environmental management and restoration.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue entry-level roles across landcare, parks and natural area management, and environmental restoration. Typical pathways include ranger support and field roles focused on pest and weed control, bush regeneration and ecosystem reconstruction work. The training also supports work with Indigenous land management and environmental contracting teams. This Certificate III prepares you for hands-on environmental fieldwork and restoration careers. Preparing graduates for supervisory, administration, and business support roles, or degree articulation.
