About the course
The undergraduate food sciences program provides foundation and advanced studies in the disciplines of food analysis, food processing and preservation, food research and development and functional foods.
What you will learn
Advanced levels of knowledge and skill in those disciplines are developed through a combination of core and elective subjects such as food chemistry, biology, nutrition, food microbiology, food technology and safety.
Career outcome
Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as food technologist , nutritionist, product/process development scientist, quality manager, food and beverage supervisor, dietitian and etc. in companies including The Coca-Cola Company, Cargill, Boar's Head Provision Company, Perfection Bakeries, Inc., Amcor and etc.
