About the course
The undergraduate biomedical & biotechnology program provides foundation and advanced studies in the disciplines of molecular and cellular biology, body systems, infection and immunity, medical biotechnology, medical genomics and pharmaceutical science.
What you will learn
Advanced levels of knowledge and skill in those disciplines are developed through a combination of core and elective subjects such as biomedical chemistry, medical biophysics, human neuro biology, human genetics, bioinformatics, molecular mechanisms of disease, microbiology, human anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Career outcome
Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as biomedical engineer, biotechnology research scientist, biotechnologist, forensic scientist, food scientist and technologist, biomedical technician and etc. in companies including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Novartis, Merck & Co., Roche and etc.
