About the course
This specialisation develops core 2D animation and storyboarding skills for screen, games and digital entertainment. You’ll learn to take ideas from storyboard to finished animation, refining character design consistency, movement, timing and transitions to create believable motion and clear narrative flow. Study is delivered in person with practical experience available, preparing you for an undergraduate pathway into creative production in animation and visual storytelling. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Graduates can pursue roles across animation, screen and interactive media where visual storytelling and 2D production are required. Typical opportunities include 2D animator roles (such as traditional, rigging or clean-up animation), storyboard artist, and related junior roles in character and motion development for film, television, games and digital content studios.
