About the course
This double degree combines legal training with theological study to develop ethical, socially minded legal professionals informed by Christian values. You will explore law’s interaction with theology while building strong foundations in legal knowledge, research and professional practice, with an emphasis on social justice and the common good. The Bachelor of Theology/Bachelor of Laws also supports progression to honours in law for high-achieving students in the law component.

Graduates can pursue the broad range of careers available to law graduates, supported by strong ethical and values-based perspectives developed through theology. The combined qualification also prepares you for roles in teaching, church agencies and ministries, chaplaincy, pastoral and community work, social inclusion and advocacy, research, and communication roles such as journalism, administration and public relations.
