About the course
This combined program builds practical, modern surveying capability alongside core business skills. You’ll develop expertise in geospatial data analysis, satellite positioning, GIS, remote sensing, photogrammetry and digital construction, and understand how spatial information supports infrastructure, land development and environmental decisions. A business major in leadership/management or innovation/entrepreneurship develops skills to lead projects, manage teams and business operations. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Quantity & Land Surveying.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles across surveying and spatial industries, supported by business leadership capability for progression into management or entrepreneurship. Employment pathways span infrastructure and construction, land development, mining, environmental management, spatial technologies, government agencies and consulting firms. Roles may include registered land surveyor (subject to registration pathways), mining surveyor, hydrographic surveyor, geospatial specialist and photogrammetrist, including project and consulting opportunities.
